Environmentally Conscious: The Poquoson Seafood Festival Helps Preserve the Past and Protect the Future
The 27th Annual Poquoson Seafood Festival honors the Working Watermen of Hampton Roads and promotes the preservation of Poquoson's coastal heritage. However, the Festival is equally committed to preserving the area's fragile ecosystem for future generations. By eliminating the use of plastic condiment packets in favor of squeeze bottle dispensers, and providing condiment stations for our festival attendees, we hope to ensure a cleaner festival and a brighter tomorrow for our environment.
